I have been using Everything for quite some time now and absolutely love it. I have been feeling slight inconvenience and made an account here just for this.

This causes hindrance when looking for the subfolder to which a search result item belongs to. For example:
What I suggest is this:
In such cases, only the parent folder should be shown in the 'Path' column, or its subfolders. Maybe an ellipsis (...) can be used before the path. Double-clicking on the path would behave the same as before. Something like:
What I request is that at least an option should be made available to be able to switch between the two layouts.
Hide parent folder path from 'Path' column items during folder search
Re: Hide parent folder path from 'Path' column items during folder search
I have on my TODO list an option to enable path ellipsis, which would show:
C:\Users\lenovo\AppData\Local\Lenovo\IMController\...\CustomCache
C:\Users\lenovo\AppData\Local\Lenovo\IMController\PluginData...\1
Thanks for the suggestion.
C:\Users\lenovo\AppData\Local\Lenovo\IMController\...\CustomCache
C:\Users\lenovo\AppData\Local\Lenovo\IMController\PluginData...\1
Thanks for the suggestion.
Re: Hide parent folder path from 'Path' column items during folder search
When you hover the mouse over the path, you will see the complete path.

Thanks for noticing. Glad to help. I hope to see it in action in a future release.
