For an ETP Server configuration, I noticed the 'Named Instances' option. Could you please explain what would be used for?
Would this be for naming a 2nd or 3rd ETP Server setup.
Example;
If I wanted to setup a second ETP server for indexing a CAD server, would this be something that could be considered for a Named Instance?

Re: ETP - Named Instances
If you want to have multiple Everything instances on one machine, you have to use Named instances to prevent those from interfering with each other.
Each of those instances will have it's own settings and database (you could do with 1 shared Everything Service if you also index local NTFS folders).
In your situation: on Servre1 you could use ETP 1 to index some of your folder locations and ETP 2 the rest (just an example).
