How to keep Selected file or folder Highlighted?

How to keep Selected file or folder Highlighted after double clicking it and it has opened?

Once I double click and open the folder, the highlight vanishes and I loose my place. What option to select to keep the item highlighted after double clicking it?

For me I don't loose the place, the cursor stays on the line with the item I double clicked.
Also all highlighted items stay so.
I have the following in the Everything.ini
show_highlighted_search_terms=1

[void]

Everything should keep your selection after opening a file or folder.
The selection might be hard to see when the window is inactive, please try changing your inactive selected color from Tools -> Options -> Fonts and colors -> Inactive Selected -> Choose a new background color.
Is Everything forgetting your selection?


Is the focus moving to the search box?
Please try disabling Focus search on activate from Tools -> Options -> UI.


Is your window closing after you open a file or folder?
Please try disabling Close window on execute from Tools -> Options -> Results.


If you would like to keep the selection after changing the search parameters, please disable Clear selection on search from Tools -> Options -> Results.


To remember your last search, please set your home search to (Use last value) from Tools -> Options -> Home.
