Running at startup
Running at startup
What is the advantage of running Everything at boot/startup?
Re: Running at startup
If you set up a hot key (I use Windows-Z) to bring up the Everything search window and you start Everything at boot then it will be all ready to go as soon as you want to make your first search with no waiting.
I run at startup and almost never "drill down" when opening files. I go to Everything and find the file with a few keystrokes and then copy the full name and paste it into the file name field (you can put a full path in there).
