Make row selectable, not just "Name" column

Post by mj6jl5lk6j6 »

I would like to be able to double-click on any column entry to open the item in the "Name" column, e.g. to be able to double-click on "08/22/2020 08:47 AM" in the "Date Modified" column to open the corresponding "TypeLib2AHK_X" folder:

With current version, I need to visually figure out which entry in the name column corresponds to the desired date column entry and then click-on/select that entry in the Name column before I can navigate to/open the folder.

I think you've already figured this out ;)

For everyone else:

Please try enabling full row select:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the UI tab on the left.
  • Check Full row select.
  • Click OK.
Please consider enabling alternate row colors:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the View tab on the left.
  • Check Alternate row color.
  • Click OK.
To customize the alternate row color:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the Fonts and Colors tab on the left.
  • Select Alternate Row.
  • Click the color button to the right of Background color.
  • Choose a new color and click OK.
  • Click OK.
Please consider enabling show row mouseover:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the View tab on the left.
  • Check Show row mouseover.
  • Click OK.

To customize the row mouseover color:
  • In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
  • Click the Fonts and Colors tab on the left.
  • Select Mouseover.
  • Click the color button to the right of Background color.
  • Choose a new color and click OK.
  • Click OK.
