I have a lot of documents in Microsoft Publisher (.pub) files and they are not showing up when I search for Documents. I have to search "Everything" and then sort through so many things.
Please add the .pub to the "documents" searches

You can simply add .pub to the list of extensions to be recognized as "Documents".
then append what is there with, .
Search | Organize Filters... -> Document --> Edit
;pub

You can also whittle down your search results to certain file types without ever specifying a Filter. Just add more refinements to your search query.
Examples:
*.pub
ext:pub
tps reports .pub
ext:pub tps reports
*tps*reports*.pub
etc

ext:pub tps reports
*tps*reports*.pub
etc

It would be nice if the OpenOffice/LibreOffice file formats were also included as documents by default.

- .odt and .fodt for word processing (text) documents
- .ods and .fods for spreadsheets
- .odp and .fodp for presentations
- .odg and .fodg for graphics
- .odf for formula, mathematical equations

OpenOffice/LibreOffice file extensions will also be included in the default documents filter for the next major update of Everything.
