When you have a .lnk file that is a simple reference to another file/folder, it would normally be more useful to see the meta info (except name/path) for the target than of the .lnk
Of course people should have a choice as there is a less frequent use for having the .lnk details, so if it's possible there could be a toggle option to switch between .lnk and target details showing for the .lnk entries. I think showing the target would be better as the default.
When showing for the target perhaps the writing could be a sightly greyed colour as an indication. In cases where the .lnk points to a complex arrangement then I guess choose the file part of it if a known popular structure or else the first entry (if existing) or if the target fails then for the .lnk (normal colour)...

I will consider an option to gather properties for lnk files for the link target instead of the lnk file itself.
I have on my TODO list to add a color filter.
Showing lnk files in a different color should be doable with this feature.
