It would be quite handy if you could turn on a column (or 3 columns?) of small Red, Blue, Green squares on the left edge which you can toggle on and off by clicking for any purpose, so when you are doing things you might use these to represent Bad, Unsure, Good, or anything else, such as Don't Send, Unsure, Send; rather analogously to the attached.
They probably don't need to survive a restart of Everything (though it could ask) but would need to survive different searches, and could be cleared, maybe saved/reloaded, and tracking files through renames would be a bonus...
