[SOLVED] Add "Duration" in columns for multimedia files

Post by Shohreh »

Hello,

I suggest adding a Duration column, as an easy way to know how long a multimedia file lasts.

Cheers,

Hi,
that already exists.

Add Columns... -> Click on "Windows Property System" -> Search for: System.Media.Duration ...

Thanks, but how?

No "Windows Property System" in the pop-up menu, in the app's menus, or even the Options sub-menu.

Thanks. Instead of installing an Alpha, I'll wait until an official release.

The Alpha is officially released (as experimental), but it's quite stable and most of us on the forum uses it.

Since I've been using 1.5 for so long, I can no longer answer questions about 1.4 because it's so obsolete.

It is an official alpha! :D

Kidding aside: Everything 1.5 and 1.4 will be installed side-by-side, so you can experiment with 1.5 while using 1.4 for your regular business. They can even run at the same time.

And although it is called an alpha version, it is already quite stable and mature.
Most regulars here use 1.5 as their daily driver instead of 1.4.

(just for some background; it is all up to you, of course)
