Excludeing certain file types

Using Beta 1.3.1.636b is there a way to not index certain file types. such as it indexes a whole drive but I don't want it to do .zip or.gif or something like that ?
i see i can do an entire folder but not certain extensions.

Options | Exclude -> Exclude files: *.zip;*.gif
