Catalog offline drives

Is there a way to make a file that catalogs the offline drives? Say i have a drive with movies on it and i unplug it. Everything then promptly forgets whats on that drive so i can't do a search of the title anymore.

is this possible or beyond the purpose of this program?

okie i got it to catalog the offline files. but now in the main program if i do a search it still doesn't see the offline file. I can load the offline file and search it there but is there a way to make the main program look for it and say yes its there. I don't need to view it i just need the name to pop up so i know i have it somewhere.

Do you want to keep the offline file list in the main database?

To add an offline file list to the main index:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the File Lists tab.
• Click Add....
• Select your offline file list.
• Click OK.
