HTTP server download folder

i was wondering if you could edit the http server to download a folder?

http protocol does not support download of a folders. it could be possible to download each file independedly, but whats the use of that. you would end up with 10 "Save As" dialog boxes. use ftp to download more files at once.

maybe to download whole folder as zip or rar, but not every system has processor power or disk space for that, especialy if someone tries to download large folders. and i think thats way out of ET's purpose

Downloading zipped folders is on my wish list.

It'd be great if every file had a checkbox beside it. I select all the files I want to download and press "download selected files as zip" button.

P.S. thanks for your awesome work! One of the best pieces of software ever for everyday use! I basically end up downloading at least the portable version on any pc I spend more than 10 minutes with :p
