It might be there and I simply missed it while looking.
Is there a way to ignore *.lnk files when displaying results?

To exclude lnk files:
- In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
- Click the Exclude tab on the left.
- Set Exclude files to:
*.lnk - Click OK.
