Everything gets stuck when displaying files for Directory Opus

When looking at the Everything debug console output while performing a search within Opus, I can see Everything has some issues processing files that the current user does not have access to. Files in ProgramData and recycle bins on external drives for example.
This means files displayed in Opus when using Everything’s search option takes up to a minute to display. Incidentally, a repeat search with the same search term shows results immediately.
Using either Everything 1.4 or 1.5 makes no difference.

Does Everything get stuck when you search from within Everything?

For example:

c:\users\administrator\



Please try indexing all file information:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Indexes tab on the left.
• Check Index file size.
• Check Index folder size.
• Check Index date created.
• Check Index date modified.
• Check Index date accessed.
• Check Index attributes.
• Click OK.

Does the issue persist?

Selecting those extra Index check boxes that aren’t selected by default seemed to fix it, at least for Everything 1.4.
I’ll see if it also does the trick for 1.5.
