Not remembering the order of results

Hi all. Using this great tool each day.
Im trying to figure how to get the search results ordered by date, but each time i type a new search, Everything sort them by name instead. I checked the options, and in all them is selected as last used.
Any help is appreciated! Thanks

Thank you for your feedback.

Everything will only keep the sort when you are using a 'fast sort'.
Everything will revert to name sorting when the sort would be slow.

Please make sure fast sort is enabled for Date Modified:

• In Everything, from the Tools menu, click Options.
• Click the Index tab on the left.
• Check Index Date Modified.
• Check Fast Date Modified sort.

  If you are trying to sort by Date Created, please:
• check Index Date Created.
• Check Fast Date Created sort.
• Click OK.
