reading old index journal logs

I automatically backup my index journal log every day as a txt file.

Is there a way of importing this back into Everything, so that I can read it from the index journal log within everything?

Can I automatically back up the log in csv format, rather than in txt, and what does the entry journal_add_all do?

No.

If you have the space you could copy the entire dbs instead, when abilities that does not exist currently are introduced, you could load the dbs with -read-only and manipulate them with those new abilities.
Or I suppose format text now, not sure if there is anything you lose with exports..I think at points the db will be smaller than the export, maybe from all the extra text added to an export..But I have done no actual tests so take that with whatever salt amount you want.
