How to exclude all folders to the search?

My problem is that i want to exclude all folders to my searches; i tryed with the Add Filter feature, excluding "Folders only" with the * Filter, but it's not working; even if i Include "Files only", it's still not working, where i'm wrong?
I'm using 1.2.1.371.

folder: will list only folders.
!folder: will list only files.

But if you ... !folder: something else ... then you get a mix of folders & files?

BTW, this is better then .371, "Everything" version 1.2.1.451a.

I'm also having problems filtering out folders. No matter what I try, filters don't seem to be able to select files exclusively.
Applying the following correctly selects filters only.

Type: Include
Value:*
Apply To: Folders only

But applying the following selects both files and folders for some reason.

Type: Include
Value: *
Apply To: Files only
