Currently you can use one style of view.
I suggest to make a Hotkey/StylesList to switch different view settings.
Won't affect the search edit.
Another suggestion is to do it by using the advanced INI file options.
Example:
In the Everthing INI file, the user will make block/s like:
[Custom1]
alternate_row_color=1
sort_ascending=1
name_column_width=1000
...
...
...
He will be able to make a hotkey/bookmark/else to this custom settings.
The custom settings will be worked for the current session, till close the window, or pressing the hotkey again.
New window will be back to deafult settings.
Perhaps the [Custom1] [Custom2].. blcoks should be in seperated INI file. I don't know what's better.
Multiple styles of view / settings
Re: Multiple styles of view / settings
What about to add to "Edit Bookmark" dialog-box a special field for INI options?
Re: Multiple styles of view / settings
Custom views could be done with bookmarks, I'll consider it.
It might be easier with a custom view command, with like you said, a list of ini settings to change. This will work easily for some things such as alternate row color, however, other changes would be difficult to implement such as thumbnail view, column widths. I'll consider it.
Thanks for the suggestion.
