Every Week I need to search a large database for specific files, this list changes every week. Our order processing software allows me to export a .csv containing file names, but it does not output the path of these files. I would love the ability to convert the .csv to an .efu and have it search our entire database for the list of files. Currently around 150k files organized within a few thousand folders.
If this is currently possible, I have yet to figure out how.
Thank you for such great software,
Jeramey

Re: Search full cached database using File Lists
Please try putting the filenames in a column with the following heading:
Filename
Your CSV should look something like:
FIlename
"c:\afolder\bfolder\file.txt"
"file2.txt"
another file example.mp3
You can have other columns, the only thing that is required is the Filename column.
The filenames do not need to include the full path.
You do not have to rename the csv to efu, you can add the csv file directly to your Everything filelist index.
